Obama said that some people cling to guns and religion in a typically condescending moment caught on video. I suspect we'll see more of this, as he works with Congress to disembowel the Constitution one amendment at a time.

That being said, let me bless the man who I feel curses me. Of the many talking points Obama has made in his run to the White House, there is one in which I do feel he's on the right track; the keeping of jobs in America.

For the life of me, I do not see why the Republican Party has let the typical blue-collar worker feel more at home with Democratic party. Most folks driving a truck or working in a factory don't want gay marriage, they don't want to ban guns, and they don't want to see abortions easier to obtain than a Big Mac; they just want to work for a living and be left alone.

I do hope an pray that Obama's efforts to encourage businesses to keep jobs here in America pay off. I also hope and pray he realizes that his "soak the rich" mindset will only hurt everybody, since those Evil Big Corporations are almost always publicly owned, and the owners are you and I by way of our 401k investments and such.

I'll admit, I'm much more of a Pat Buchanan protectionist than a free-trade type. I do pray Obama's work to revitalize American industry succeeds. Obama will face fierce pressure from his own party to run every productive industry out of the USA in the name of global warming, and indeed, he too is going to strangle productivity in the name of environmentalism. Again, I pray for our leader that he doesn't kill off what little remains of industry in our nation. We once were the foundry of the world, now China is. We once clothed ourselves, now places like Vietnam, Korea, and Pakistan make our clothes. Even the famously liberal Apple Computer tossed American industry out the window and headed for China. No blue-collar love there.

So, my prayer today for our sooon-to-be-President is that he really does revitalize our nation's industry. In that endeavor he has my support and best wishes, amen.

I'm trying to love Obama. He won the election. He is no doubt on track to derail over 200 years of freedom and turn the United States of America into a fetid quagmire of socialism, putting us squarely on the same hopelessly twisted railroad tracks that sent Great Britain from the reigning world power to the dustbin of history's also-rans.

And yet, he is the President-Elect.

The night of the election, God gave me a peace like I have not had in a long, long time. I felt His assurance that although hard times are ahead, He (Jesus, not Obama) is still in charge. God is still in charge!

Things could be worse. We could be living in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, China, or well, pretty much any other nation besides the USA. Even if the Democrats get their dreaded super-majority, their most Marxist fantasies would not match what already exists around the world in some places. We truly are in a blessed nation. It may be we are facing a period of judgment, if so, I pray for God's grace to rest upon us and carry us through it.

So, although I suspect Barrack Obama will prove to be the only Marxist President in US history, I do pray that instead he gets a seriously unexpected patriotic streak and doesn't drive the bus of freedom off the cliff of socialism. His acceptance speech was truly good, I pray the man lives up to it. I urge all believers to pray for our President-Elect, and I do mean that. I wish him the best (just not best enough to win another four years!)

Right and the left do not want the same America.

That in a nutshell sums up our present age. The Right, of which I count myself a proud member, wants an America where our heroes are folks like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. The left wants an America where their heroes are Rosie O'Donnell, Ellen DeGeneris, Alex Baldwin, Michael Moore, George Soros, and Noam Chomsky, to name a few.

The Right favors a freedom of religion per the 1st Ammendment, with the bulk of it adherents being Christians of one flavor or another.

The Left isn't sure if it wants to be atheist or eastern mysticist, but it absolutely does not want to hear the name "Jesus" unless it is being used as part of a curse.

The Right would probably look to the Space Age of the 60's as a great moment. The Left, well, they're looking at the hippie movement and longing to turn all of America into Haight Ashbury circa 1968.

The Right respects rugged individualism, and that's why they find a character like Sarah Palin, from Anchorage, Alaska, so appealing.

The Left is obsessed with all things urban, be it the gritty streets of the 'hood or the highbrow elitists of the college campus. Fittingly, their god in the flesh is Barack Hussein Obama, who claims both the intelligensia and the 'hood as his own.

The Right go for the traditional view of marriage, with one man and one woman. Sure, we have affairs and divorces, but these things are shameful and typically it's participants do their best to keep it covered up.

The Left would attempt to mate with everything from farm animals to department store mannequins were it possible; and would celebrate it in song and dance.

In short, the two have entirely incompatible visions of America. We have almost nothing in common other than a flag, and the Left would burn it in a moment. We do share taxation, and you can rest assured the Left would (make that will if Obama wins) exempt themselves from all of it and sack the Right with the burden were it possible. Were it at all possible to split America down the middle, I think that would be in the best interests. Give the Left the East Coast; the can have NYC, Harvard, and D.C. We'll take the West Coast. Heck, the Left can have Hawaii, it's theirs anyway. We'll remove the Pearl Harbor monument first, since it'll offend them anyhow.

Two Americas. Let's see how they fare in a hundred years. Will the libs ever figure how to large-scale grow food organically? Will they form an Army? I sure know the Right will. We'll have a strong military and a rich heritage of individual firearms ownership. The Left,well, they'll undoubtedly have a total ban on firearms, and probably no military to speak of. Will they be annexed by China? Will they become a giant mosque? Will Mexico invade? Cuba? Who knows. I'd love to see it play out. Were it possible to build a "Sim City" that actually could simulate the results of the Two Americas, I'd love to play it.

This isn't a game, though, we live here. In an America where there is no reconciliation between the two, and the best thing to do is to determine if you want to be on the Right or the Left and just do it already.

Over at stoptheaclu.com I found this beauty. A YouTube video of Obama answering somebody's question about Obama's tax plan. Obama's answer?

So in his view, and in that of his Weather Underground / ACORN socialist cronies, your earnings are for redistribution to everybody else, in true Marxist form.

Read about how ACORN fights for higher minimum wages, while simultaneously seeking ruling to pay their own employees less than the minimum wage. Or check out their shameless voter registration practices; multiple registrations per person, shenanigans with the elderly, registering a 13-year-old, and the list goes on!

First off, let me say I've never met Barack Obama. I'm sure he is a nice enough guy, somebody who you could have a decent conversation with. That's not why I dislike him. My dislike has to do with his run for the Presidency. So, you could say I really don't want to see Obama as the president. Why? Right now on the evening news, I'm watching Obama commenting on the recent stock market crisis. He's speaking and saying that with 26 years in Congress, John McCain is part of the problem. Well, Obama, what does that make whats-his-head, I forgot. Yeah, Joe Biden. That's the guy. He's been a Senator for decades! I guess McCain is part of the problem, but Biden is not. From where I'm sitting, Obama isn't part of the problem, he is the problem!
